Ebenezer Conference 2026

Thus Far the Lord Has Brought Us

Celebrating 10 Years of City of Glory Church Arizona, 23 Years of City of Glory Church Worldwide, and 25 Years of Apostle William Sobanuka’s Ministry and Pastoral Service.

About The Conference

The Ebenezer Celebration Conference is an annual thanksgiving gathering of the City of Glory Church family, partners, friends, and the wider body of Christ.
Inspired by 1 Samuel 7:12 — “Thus far the Lord has brought us” — the conference is a time to come together in fellowship, worship, thanksgiving, and testimony, celebrating the goodness and faithfulness of God.

The 2026 conference marks three significant milestones:

10 Years
City of Glory Church Arizona

23 Years
City of Glory Church Worldwide

25 Years
Apostle William Sobanuka’s Ministry & Pastoral Service

From Seven Members to Global Ministry

City of Glory Church began with just seven members in January 2004 in Okahandja, Namibia.

Through the years, the ministry has experienced significant growth and transformation, expanding across multiple countries and becoming a multicultural ministry committed to preaching the Word of God and developing disciples.

Today, City of Glory Church has a presence in Namibia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South India, and the United States, with more than 10,000 active members worldwide.
Thus far, the Lord has brought us.

Celebrating 25 Years of Ministry

In 2026, Apostle William Sobanuka celebrates 25 years of ministry and pastoral service.

His journey into ministry began with a prophetic calling as a young boy in the Democratic Republic of Congo. After years of seeking God and serving in ministry, he fully committed himself to the call of God in 2000.

In 2001, he planted his first church, Siloam Church, in the Osire Refugee Settlement Camp in Namibia. What began with one member eventually grew to more than 200 active members.

His ministry journey eventually led to the establishment of City of Glory Church, which has continued to grow and impact communities across nations.

Today, Apostle William serves as a pastor, church planter, international conference speaker, author, entrepreneur, and the convener of the Ebenezer Celebration Conference.

Thus Far the Lord Has Brought Us.

Join City of Glory Church, friends, partners, leaders, and guests from around the world as we gather to celebrate God's goodness, faithfulness, and mercy.
